LCD Haulage & Hiab Hire is Louis Darnell, working out of Feock just outside Truro. When you ring, you get the person who will be driving the lorry and operating the crane.
What that means in practice
You get a straight answer about whether a job is possible, because the person answering is the one who has to do it. If the access will not work, or the load is over weight, you will be told before the day rather than finding out with a lorry parked in a lane.
Most of the work is for builders, plant hire firms, fabricators, merchants and farms, with a steady run of private jobs alongside it: garden rooms, hot tubs, sleepers, containers and the occasional thing nobody else will touch.
