Hiab hire and haulage across Cornwall
We are based at Feock, just outside Truro, which puts most of Cornwall within a comfortable working day. That matters more here than in most counties, because the A30 is the only quick way along it and everything either side of that road is slower than the map suggests.
Plant, containers, steel, timber and general haulage, on a 10 ton lorry with a 30TM crane and 10 metres of reach.

Where we work in Cornwall
Each town has its own page, because the job is different in each of them. What a lorry can do in Redruth and what it can do in St Ives are not the same thing.

Not on the list? Ring anyway. The list is the usual run rather than a boundary, and the answer is often yes.
Access is the Cornish problem, not distance
Half the jobs in this county come down to the last two hundred metres: a farm track, a lane with granite hedges either side, a yard designed for a tractor rather than an artic.
A crane on the lorry solves most of that, because the load can be lifted over an obstacle instead of driven past it. If you are unsure whether we can reach, send a photograph of the access and we will tell you honestly before the day rather than turning up and failing.
The season changes the roads, not the work
Between June and September the main roads and the coastal towns slow down considerably, and a job that takes a morning in February can take most of a day in August.
We plan around it rather than pretending otherwise, which usually means earlier starts in season. If your job has a fixed window, say so when you book and we will work backwards from it.
